The total area of the designed facility is 173.4 hectares, of which 25 hectares correspond to the exhibition complex itself, and the territory of 148 hectares will be occupied by housing projects, social and cultural facilities, education and health facilities, shopping and entertainment centers, parks and boulevards. The approximate area of the exhibition pavilions is 118,620 m?, of service areas – 95,400 m?, and housing – 586,465 m?. The construction of the EXPO city is planned in the Esil district, in the square formed by such streets and avenues as Kabanbai batyr, Khusein ben Talal, Orynbor and Ryskulov.
